We support 60 organisations working on constitutional values and 300 organisations engaging approximately 4,50,000 young people across India
Together, this work focuses on social justice, equality, diversity, inclusion, and democratic participation, while creating opportunities for young people and communities to participate in civic life and address issues that affect them.
A key focus is on building collectives and community-based groups, including adolescent girls’ collectives, youth clubs, and citizen groups. These spaces help young people and community members develop leadership skills, confidence, critical thinking, and a stronger understanding of their rights and responsibilities. They also encourage active citizenship, community participation, and collective action to address local issues and social inequalities.

The work emphasises constitutional values such as social justice, equality, fraternity, diversity, and plurality. Through community engagement, community mapping, and collaborative problem-solving, people from diverse backgrounds come together to address issues their communities face. These efforts can help reduce discrimination, build solidarity, and strengthen democratic participation.
Creative mediums such as theatre, music, and other art forms are also used to foster awareness of constitutional rights and values. These approaches create spaces for young people and communities to reflect on social issues, develop their understanding of constitutional values, and participate in collective action.
