We support organisations working with people with physical, sensory, intellectual, developmental, and multiple disabilities
We currently work with more than 160 organisations supporting persons with disabilities across the life span. Their work includes early identification and intervention, medicines and therapy, education, accessibility, livelihoods, recreation, assisted living for persons with severe to profound disabilities, cataract surgeries, and other related interventions.
Our work is guided by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and supports organisations working across the 21 disabilities recognised under the Act. Partners use both community-based and centre-based approaches to provide rehabilitation and promote inclusion. Their work also includes early intervention for children, prevention of avoidable disabilities, employment support, and opportunities for recreation and participation.

Alongside addressing gaps in care, welfare, and protection, we support efforts to build a more skilled and empathetic disability ecosystem. This includes capacity-building for parents and caregivers, frontline workers, professionals, and organisations working in the sector.
Our partners work to identify developmental delays and disabilities in children at an early stage and provide timely interventions that improve quality of life and enable fuller participation in family, school, and community life.
They also work to strengthen inclusive practices in families, schools, workplaces, and communities, while helping persons with disabilities access rights and entitlements. These include disability certificates, UDID cards, insurance, scholarships, and pensions.
