We support more than 240 organisations working with vulnerable rural communities, including small and marginal farmers, vendors, artisans, and weavers

The work focuses on strengthening livelihoods and addressing challenges such as low incomes, low productivity in agriculture and allied activities, limited access to markets, credit and government schemes, degradation of natural resources, and the lack of productive assets among landless families.

Our partners work with communities to improve agricultural and allied practices, reduce cultivation costs, increase productivity, and strengthen access to markets. They also help build and strengthen farmer collectives and other rural institutions, enabling communities to negotiate better, access resources, and respond to livelihood challenges collectively.

Another area of work is income diversification. Partners support communities to take up cash crop cultivation and livestock-based activities, helping rural households develop additional sources of income and reduce their dependence on a single livelihood.

These efforts have contributed to improved farm productivity, better market access, and stronger rural institutions and collectives. They have also helped vulnerable rural households strengthen their livelihoods and improve their overall well-being.
